Jared Hague, Board Member at Large - My name is Jared Hague and I am a co-founder of the Sutton Hague Law Corporation, which has offices in Northern and Southern Nevada. My entire career as an attorney has been focused exclusively on the field of employment and labor law. I have worked with and represented employers at all stages of employment-related disputes, from internal employee complaints, through state and federal administrative agency proceedings, federal and state civil litigation, and federal and state appellate proceedings. My representation has included claims across the full spectrum of employment law, from harassment and discrimination claims brought by individual employees, through complex multi-state wage and hour class action litigation. However, I find the most fulfillment in working with and educating employers on the practices that will allow them to avoid situations that could lead to litigation or escalation of disputes. I feel that I have a unique ability for explaining complex legal concepts in a way that is understandable to managers and HR employees of all levels of experience, and I would appreciate the opportunity to put my abilities and enthusiasm for employment law to work for our chapter membership. I am licensed to practice law in both California and Nevada, which allows me to be a single point of reference for employers with operations that cross state lines. I am an active member of my local community, and also a member of the Clark County Bar Association Community Service Committee.
