    Incumbent Nominees

    Wesley Calton - Board Member at Large -

    Wesley was born and raised in Dayton, OH where he graduated from Wright State University with Bachelor's Degree dual majoring in Business Management and Human Resources.  Following his graduation, he started his career in HR as Staffing Coordinator for Trimble Navigation until relocating to Columbus, OH to work as an HR Coordinator for Hollywood Casino.  From that point, Wesley has worked in generalist roles of increasing responsibility, including Senior HR Integrity Advisor for Caesars Entertainment, and currently holds the position of Senior HR Generalist for National Debt Relief, the nation's fastest growing financial services company in the debt settlement sector.  In this role, Wesley is responsible for managing a team of HR and Security professionals and directing overall HR operations for the Las Vegas, Nevada location including recruiting, training and development, employee relations, engagement, analytics, safety, security, and surveillance.  

    Outside of his career, Wesley was on the event leadership team for the 2017 Relay for Life of Henderson as the Logistics Chair responsible for overall coordination and logistics for the event and partnering with the venue to ensure seamless organization.  This event raised almost $100,000, and has welcomed Wesley back to the event leadership team for 2018.  

    Lisa Hanik – Board Member at Large -

    Lisa Hanik has been working in staffing for the past 20 years.  She has been servicing on the SNV SHRM board for the past two years coordinating the evening networking events once a quarter.  She loves working with people and creating remarkable experiences.  She grew up in Chicago and has lived in Las Vegas for the past nine years with her boyfriend, Joe.  In her spare time, she loves spending time with her nephews Aiden (9) and Kyle (7).

     Patrice Ross, SPHR, SHRM-SCP – Board Member at Large - Patrice M. Ross, SPHR, CCP, IPMA-CP has 20 years of experience in all facets of human resources.  She has worked in multiple industries including government-contracted security, non-profit and convention/trade shows, as well as working as an HR consultant.   Patrice earned her Master’s Degree in HR and Organizational Development from the University of Nebraska.  She is especially proud of being awarded the Seven Seals Award from the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) in both 2011 and 2012 for her work helping returning service personnel re-enter the civilian workforce.

    Patrice has been a member of the SNVSHRM/Southern Nevada Human Resources Association since 2001.  She served as SNHRA President from 2010 to 2011 and on the Board of Directors since 2005.  In addition, Patrice currently serves and the Director of the Nevada State SHRM Council.

    Sarah White - Board Member at Large -

    Sarah White is originally from Vermont and has lived in Las Vegas, NV since August 2005. Sarah enjoys spending time with her son Kash and husband Scott. Sarah believes in giving back to the community and volunteers for several local charities throughout the year.

    Sarah is the Manager of Human Resources at Credit Acceptance Henderson, Nevada location. Sarah has worked in the call center business since 1997 and possesses over 12 years in Human Resources experience.  Over the span of her career, Sarah has developed comprehensive experience in conflict resolution, employee relations, employee retention, and change management, payroll and benefits administration for multiple sites. One of Sarah’s strengths is the ability to thrive in a busy environment with positive results. Sarah is passionate about Human Resources and how she can partner with the business to meet the client and organization objectives.

     Annie Cleveland - Board Member at Large -

    I am currently the Corporate Director of HR Compliance for Station Casinos in Las Vegas, NV. I graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas with a Hospitality Management degree in 2002 and started my career with Station Casinos that same year. I have held numerous positions within the organization in food and beverage, training and human resources. In my current role, I specializes in I-9, ACA, and Affirmative Action compliance. I achieved my SHRM-CP in February of 2018 and recertified at the SHRM conference here in Las Vegas this year. I co-presented a SHRM sponsored webinar with LawLogix on I-9 Compliance on 1/8/19, which was one of the most highly attended webinars they have ever had with 3,594 registered attendees and 2,188 live attendees, who all stayed online for the entire 63 minutes presentation. I served as a Volunteer Team Lead in the Volunteer Lounge at this year's annual SHRM Conference in Las Vegas. I am also a Board Member of FEAT of Southern Nevada, a charity supporting and providing resources for families effected by autism. I do not have a current resume to provide, since I have been with my organization for almost 18 years, but will update and send in as soon as possible.

     Marilyn Ennis - Board Member at Large -

    I am an HR Professional with 15+ of senior management experience with an emphasis on HR strategies, Organizational Development and Operational excellence. As an accomplished Senior HR professional with extensive success and experience, I possess a wide range of knowledge and talents that will allow me to contribute towards to the SHRM board. Throughout my tenure as a Senior Human Recourses professional I have become well versed in all aspects of Talent acquisition, process improvement, staff development, policy creation and implementation, labor relations and strategic planning. My vast experience in successfully directing organizational pllanning through strategic initiatives and programs makes me an excellent candidate for this position.

     Kathy Ann MacDougall - Board Member at Large - 

    Kathy is a seasoned business and operations professional with expertise in transformational leadership. Kathy leads the strategic HR alignment within PLI. Most recently, Kathy was responsible for all business and people-related activities for the IES team as COO. Prior, Kathy was HR Manager for Luxfer Gas Cylinders. She was an active member of the facility leadership team and led efforts in learning and growth strategy. As VP, HR for Aptera, Kathy led the HR function for this exciting start-up organization. As Director, Human Resources for Independent Energy Solutions, she led all transformational activities to deliver performance, structure, and results. In her previous role as General Manager of a multimilliondollar global manufacturer in California, Luxfer Gas Cylinders, Kathy was instrumental in leading continuous improvement activity resulting in sustainable and repeatable operations. She was Lead Team Trainer for “Accountability Models for Team Leaders” and successfully managed a highly unionized environment. Also the former Corporate Director of Human Resources, she has been responsible for every aspect of Human Resource Management, Health, Safety, and Environmental compliance for a large international manufacturer. Utilizing her management skills that were honed with PhD studies and an MBA, Kathy is a superior negotiator, arbitrator, and mediator. Her attention to detail and ability to compile data, analyze situations, project resources and meet goals is further evidenced through her highly developed interpersonal relations and communication skills

     Emily Marsil - Board Member at Large - 

    Emily Marsil, SHRM-SCP is a Human Resources practitioner providing people practices' expertise and solutions with a sense of urgency, humor and accountability. Emily found that HR was the career for her during her senior year of college in Boston, MA. While studying Psychology she quickly realized she wanted to marry Psych and Business. She discovered Industrial / Organizational Psychology as a field of study and signed up for a Organizational Behavior class. As graduation neared Emily realized she needed to find a way to earn a living through the I/O field, which led her to the discovery of Human Resource. She joined the local New England HR Association (NEHRA), acquired her first HR internship and the rest is history. Emily holds a BA in Psychology from Emmanuel College, MA in Industrial / Organizational Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology and a passion for making organizations more effective through their people practices. Currently Emily is a Senior Human Resources Business Partner at Opportunity Village, where she has the honor to serve a committed, diverse and enthusiastic employee population of 800+ people at 50+ locations in the Las Vegas Valley.

     Greg Wilkin - Board Member at Large -

    Greg Wilken is the Founder and Principal Member of Edunamo Consulting. Endunamo is a Human Resources consulting company that focuses on providing HR expertise and services to nonprofit organizations. Endumamo’s clients include United Way of Southern Nevada, SafeNest, the Discovery Children’s Museum, and others. Endunamo works closely with organizations to provide highlypersonalized, cost-effective HR consulting that helps them to flourish and be more mission-driven. Prior to forming Endunamo, Greg had spent most of his career in corporate HR and practicing employment and labor law. He has worked in all aspects of HR with a particular focus on employee relations, labor-management relations and HR compliance. Greg has a B.A. from St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota where he majored in History and a J.D from the University of Baltimore School of Law. Greg lives in Las Vegas and spends his free time running, cooking and traveling.
