My Human Resources career has spanned over 18 years. I began as an HR Generalist in 2006 in food manufacturing continuing to advance and grow, leading up to my current role as the Senior HR Manager / HR Ops Lead at HUKL Investments. Our company has changed names throughout the years as we expand on ventures and ways that we can further enhance our community. When the company made the biggest shift in 2022, I was asked to expand my role into Benefits where I have continued to learn. My knowledge and experience in the profession has motivated me to give back and assist others in this area. I have been assisting the local SHRM chapter for over 7 years. In 2023, I served as Certification Chair and am happy to serve as Treasurer since January of 2024. Our profession has an impact that is overarching, and I am grateful to be afforded these opportunities.

Lisa Neshite, PHR, SHRM-CP
Lisa is a seasoned Senior HR and business professional with proven progression in Human Resource Management. Lisa’s career spans over 20 years in the Aerospace and Defense industry. Most recently, she was working as an Executive Search Manager for an Executive Search firm headquartered in Denver. Lisa demonstrates strength in identifying gaps in organizational processes and procedures and implements ways to increase efficiency and effectiveness in those areas. She has many years of experience with HR processes from recruitment, benefits, 401K plans, performance management, employee relations issues, and HR compliance. A true “hire to retire” professional and experienced in helping companies develop their Human Resource Programs.
Lisa is passionate about helping others and is very active in the HR Community. She currently serves on the Southern Nevada Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) Board of Directors as their Secretary.

Vashawn Maxey, SHRM-CP, PHR
Vashawn is an experienced HR and Talent Acquisition expert with two decades in the field. Most recently, she held the position of Talent Acquisition Team Leader, overseeing the onboarding process for a Fortune 500 client, and has transitioned into the healthcare sector as a Human Resources Generalist. With a strong commitment to employee engagement and professional development, Vashawn possesses extensive knowledge in various HR functions, including recruitment, performance management, employee relations, and HR compliance. In 2024, she became a member of the DEI council for the Southern Nevada Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and will take on the role of Programs/Professional Development Chairperson starting January 1, 2025.
