HR Resources for You!!
SHRM A-Team (@SHRMATeam on Twitter) - If you're a SHRM member, you can volunteer to have a more visible, vocal and active role. The SHRM A-Team gives you the chance to be connected to your elected officials who serve in Congress. You can meet with their staff, and possibly them, when they are in their district. I currently serve as an A-Team captain for part of Ohio. It makes a difference to have officials hear the voice of HR !! SHRM Advocacy App - You can take your advocacy to a new level by adding the SHRM Advocacy App to your smart phone. It is a great app that keeps you current on possible legislation that is coming that has an impact on HR and the workforce.
You can get the "SHRM Action" app on the Apple App Store or on Google Play and there is a great video on You Tube which shows you how it works and why it's a great resource.
