Hi Friends!

Without you, there is no us!

We wanted to “move the ball in 2020” and that work is beginning to blossom! Our new online registration and check-in technology was a complete success and we are excited to see it in action at more of our programming events!

We enjoyed the first taste of fruit at our 2020 Kick-off Mixer with an amazing turn-out of over 50 attendees buzzing with excitement, enjoying the company of their peers and holding engaging conversations! Many thanks to Joe’s Bar for sponsoring this event, our community partnerships are invaluable!

Our Board convened in January for the Annual Chapter Planning Workshop. This deep dive into the work ahead for the chapter was intense and opened our eyes, hearts and minds to the needs of you, or Members! Collaboration continued with the State Council and Northern Nevada Chapter at the end of January and the energy was strong among this group too!

The most important collaboration will come from you, our Southern Nevada SHRM members! So, we made it easier than ever before to tell us what you really think! A FEEDBACK PAGE is now operational on our website and is available for you to make suggestions, requests, comments and concerns, anytime!

Bookmark our website on all of your devices and watch while a metamorphosis occurs, in an effort to elevate chapter transparency, solicit your opinions and suggestions, accept new volunteers, promote our calendar of events and work toward the collective goals of our local State and National Organization!

We will resume Member programming on the 2^nd TUESDAY in February (2-11-20) with Dave Newton and Creating a Culture of Accountability. Check our site for the details and as always, I challenge you to invite a colleague!
