How to be a Bad-Ass HR Leader

I believe HR is the most important function for a company’s success. I’m over conversations about ‘seat at the table’ and ‘order taker’. If you want to be successful in the role you need to: speak in business metrics – know how the business makes money and make a contribution, have a point of view and express it – you don’t have to win, but you need to speak up; if you aren’t invited, invite yourself.

    Speaking points will include:

    ·         How to make a financial impact

    ·         The value of good vendor relationships

    ·         What ‘words’ open up the ears of business leaders (you’re one of them)

    ·         Forget Performance Management

    ·         How to run HR like a business
