Financial Technology is Driving New Benefits Designed to Attract and Retain Key Employees Across All Generations
Summary:
Burke Rice, Director of Sales, Western US with Green Dot Corporation / rapid! will present on how today’s job market is changing and ways organizations can use financial technology to their advantage in order to attract and retain today’s changing workforce. He will discuss declining average tenure in the workplace and the workplace expectations of the younger generations. In addition, Burke will discuss benefits that organizations can provide their employees in order to improve performance, minimize workplace distractions, and avoid unnecessary stress that may lead to increased absenteeism. Some of the benefits discussed will include concepts such as On-Demand Pay, new Disbursement options, and Navigating Early Wage Access Laws and Regulations.

Presenter’s Bio:
BURKE RICE
Burke Rice is the Director of Sales for the Western US at rapid! Paycard and Green Dot. Burke brings to his role move than 25 years of sales, sales management, operational oversight, and entrepreneurial experience. In his early career, Burke worked in banking and public accounting with Bank of America, US Bank, and Grant Thornton LLP. Over the past twelve years, he has focused on the unbanked and underserved population of the US, serving as Executive Vice resident of a national payroll card company and Chief Operating Officer of a start-up organization designed to serve the cash economy. Burke is a fourth-generation Oregonian and currently resides in Portland. He was a division one collegiate athlete and captained the golf team at Santa Clara University while earning his degree in Economics. Outside of his daily duties, Burke is actively involved in number of charities and professional organizations in his community.
