Legal Update: Employee Handbook Issues to Watch in 2018
Synopsis of this Presentation: The Federal government’s focus deregulation combined with active state legislatures mean a cookie-cutter employee handbook isn’t a realistic option for employers. This program will highlight some of the key issues employers should monitor that may trigger handbook updates.
Attendees will learn:
-What is the purpose of an employee handbook and what essentials should be included
-Whether one handbook that governs facilities in different states are still legally feasible
-What a solid handbook should include
-What federal and state level changes in the law should employers be on the lookout for
