    Getting Hiring Managers to Move Forward With Applicants

    As a recruiter, you’ve done your best to find, prescreen and present your best candidates to a hiring manager for a position that you have been told is critical to the success of the organization.  The hiring manager says she will get back with you shortly.  Then, days go by.  You follow up with voicemails and emails, but all you get is silence in return.   What happened?  What could you have done differently?  What are your best ideas to get he hiring manager to move forward and start interviewing candidates?
