The Plan:

This is our first Special Interest Group meeting, focused on Talent Acquisition.  We are asking for each participant to bring just one of the following to share (in 10-15 minutes):

1.  Your biggest success and/or claim to fame within the last year.   What worked well for you that you are prod of?  What helped your Talent Acquisition world to be more effective, resulting in a positive impact to your organization?
2.  The best thing you’ve seen implemented at another company that actually worked, and you plan on doing it in your organization.  OK, so maybe you haven’t had great success yet, but maybe you have something in the works that you are really excited about.  Share it with us, we might have some helpful ideas.
3. A great talent acquisition challenge that you were able to overcome.  What was wrong?  What did you do right?  Would you have done anything differently if you had another running shot at it?
4. A fantastic failure!  Failure can be a great teacher, as long as you use it as a guide post and not a hitching post.  Did you try something within the last year that didn’t work out as expected?  Why?  What could have been done differently?

This is a fantastic opportunity to share best practices, to network and to learn.  If everyone brings just one of the above to share, I promise you it the evening will be a great investment of your time.  And as an added bonus, those who attend will be entered into a raffle to receive an invitation to our monthly breakfast meeting!   So, come join us!  We are looking forward to learning from you, from each other.
